Re: Perception Is Everthing |
Well the ramonse get tons more radio play than the dead, and so do a lot of good and bad bands. It's simple why, advertizers cannot play 15 commercials in 15 minutes if you are playing 12 minute songs. Every band keeps the mega minute song count to 2 to keep enough of the disc radio friendly. And the average human attention span cannot handle over 5 minutes. Usually musicians or connisuers of music are the only ones that can stomache a good 4 song album by Rush. Or a 15 minute Zappa composition, or a 40 minutes space on 4-25 at wojohowitz funeral home.

You did not just reference Wojohowitz. Now you have to get Fish, Levitt and Yemana mixed in.

sorry couldn't help it... also uses a sample from my calls (constable) which relates to the dire-tito flame about constables and serving paperwork and shit... The folks at noisecollector saw this coming... and the song is supposed to sound bad it's a joke.

Reminds me of the Residents - are you sure NC isn't just regurgitating old vinyl that only stoned liberal arts college students listen to?
